I started seeing results…when I just shut up, and did the 5 simple things to get fit. 1) eat clean 2) cardio 3) strength train 4) drink a lot of water 5) getting my sleep in.
Stop worrying about quick fixes. It’s a lifestyle change people. Or you can just pay thousands of dollars to get liposuction. That’s cool too.
Just remember, “Anything that’s worth getting, never comes easy.”
So recently I’ve been obsessing over maintenance of my body. Like not just the usual healthy diet or exercise kind, but also my skin. Like I bought all these facial washes and moisturizers and I actually make a point to use them. I honestly never thought the day where I have a skincare routine would arrive. I also finally bought cream for my cracked heels. Okay they aren’t exactly cracked (yet). Just rough. Since when did having smooth baby feet matter, right? But it somehow does! And now I cannot wait for tomorrow’s mani pedi because my nails are atrocious. Pampering myself is the best.
I guess this is my new philosophy: Looking good starts from the inside. It’s not just the clothes and makeup. It’s also about the organs, the skin, the fitness level and the happiness. :)
when it reaches a point where i can no longer communicate my feelings and my thoughts adequately, i shut down.
when it reaches that point, it is time to let me leave the car, the room, the world.
just let me leave and be alone.
